Morris started her career as an actress in 1994. Her debut role was as Tracy Pinkem in the TV film Witch Hunt.

This was followed by guest appearances in episodes of the TV series The Young and the Restless (1995, 2014), Baywatch Nights (1996), The Adventures of Sinbad (1996-1997), and L.A. Heat (1999).

But most of all, she is known for portraying the role of Greta Von Amburg / Swamp Girl in 29 episodes of Days of Our Lives. Since then, she has starred in the TV film Another Pretty Face (2002) and the 2004 movie 50 First Dates.

In 2004, Julianne Morris took a break from acting to become a full-time mom.
