Kristoffer Polaha is a professional actor and an American national. He is best known for starring in North Shore as Jason Matthews, in Life Unexpected as Nathaniel "Baze" Bazile, and in Ringer as Henry Butler.

Kristoffer Polaha’s birth took place on February 18, 1977, in Reno, Nevada, USA. He was born Kristoffer Jon Polaha to her father Jerome Polaha, Washoe District Court Judge, and her mother Esther Polaha. 

He is not the only child of his parents and has three siblings, all of whom are older brothers named John Polaha, Michael Polaha, and Erik Polaha.

To attend Robert Louis Stevenson boarding school, Kristoffer Polaha moved to Pebble Beach, California, in the early 1990s. For further education, he attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, from where he graduated in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in arts. 

His ethnicity includes Czech, Irish, German, and French.

Early Career

Polaha first began his career appearing in theatre productions of Ragtime Revue, The Long Day's Journey Into Night, Bread & Butter, and Uncle Vanya. It was in the early 2000s that Kristoffer Polaha began to land minor roles in TV series and films. 

His debut role was in an episode of That's Life (2001) as Gavin. This was followed by guest appearances in the TV series Angel (2001), Roswell (2002), Birds of Prey (2002), Tru Calling (2003), and the short film Home Base (2002). 

Finally, in 2004, Kristoffer Polaha was cast as Jason Matthews, the main character in the TV series North Shore. He portrayed the character for a total of 21 episodes.
