Who is Lyon Beckwith?

Lyon Beckwith is an actor by profession and American by nationality. Having worked as a dancer, model, and mixed martial artist, he is best known for starring in Wonder Woman 1984 as Buzz.

Lyon Beckwith’s birth took place on November 14, 1980, in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He was born to a drug-addicted, unemployed mother and a father of unknown identity. He is not the only child of his single mother and has two siblings, older brothers Lionel Curtis Beckwith and Esther Beckwith, who are both deceased.

Growing up as a child of mixed race (his mother is African-American, while his father is white with Irish ethnicity), Lyon Beckwith dealt with nonacceptance and bullying in his hometown. Born and raised where drugs, gangs, and crimes ran high, he was determined to break the cycle that had plagued the family for generations.

For education, Beckwith attended Forest Park High School. As his family fell through hard times, he was homeless in his teens and slept on his best friend's couch from time to time. Lyon Beckwith has also revealed that he does not have a good relationship with his mother.

His older son is Zhadyn Beckwith (born July 2004), his second son is named Xavier Beckwith, and his youngest son, Xander, is autistic. Xander’s mother is also his senior prom date.
