Gabriella Wilde is a professional model, actress, and British national. She is well known for starring in films St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold, The Three Musketeers, Carrie, and Endless Love.

Gabriella Wilde’s birth took place on 8 April 1989 in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. Born to the aristocratic Gough-Calthorpe family, her birth name is Gabriella Zanna Vanessa Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe. 

Her businessman father John Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe is a former chairman of the Watermark Group and her former model mother Vanessa Mary Theresa (née Hubbard) is the ex-wife of socialite Sir Dai Llewellyn, 4th Baronet. 

She is not the only child of her parents and has a sibling- a younger sister named Octavia Calthorpe. Moreover, she has five half-siblings- half-sisters Olivia Llewellyn, Arabella Llewellyn from her mother’s first marriage and half-sisters Georgiana Calthorpe, Isabella Calthorpe, and half-brother Jacobi Calthorpe from her father’s first marriage to Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon.

For education, Gabriella Wilde attended Windlesham House School. She went on to study at Heathfield St Mary's School but was suspended after smuggling vodka to school and thus was transferred to St Swithun's School. Wilde also attended City and Guilds of London Art School to study fine art but dropped out to pursue a career in acting.

Gabriella Wilde married her longtime boyfriend Alan Pownall, a musician on 13 September 2014. With her husband, she has three children- sons Sasha Blue Pownall (born 3 February 2014), Shiloh Silva Pownall (born 2016), and Skye Pownall (born October 2019).

Currently, the couple is in a blissful marriage, living without rumors of extra-marital affairs and divorce.

Gabriella Wilde began her career as a model after she was spotted by Naomi Campbell at the age of 14. Having signed to Premier Model Management, she has worked in campaigns for L.K.Bennett, Abercrombie & Fitch, Burberry, and posed for magazines InStyle, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, and Nylon.

Wilde’s debut role as an actress was in the 2009 film St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold as Saffy. This was followed by roles in the films The Three Musketeers (2011), Carrie (2013), Endless Love (2014), Squatters (2014), and Wonder Woman 1984 (2020). 

Moreover, Gabriella Wilde has also had appearances in a 2010 episode of Doctor Who as Vampire Girl. She portrayed the character Caroline Penvenen in the historical drama TV series Poldark from 2016 to 2019.
