Mike Lookinland’s birth took place on December 19, 1960, in Mount Pleasant, Utah, USA. He was born Michael Paul Lookinland to his father, Paul Lookinland, and his mother, Karen Lookinland. He is not the only child of his parents and has two siblings -sister Theresa Lookinland and brother Todd Lookinland, an actor.

For education, Mike Lookinland attended Hollywood Professional School and Chadwick School. He briefly studied at the University of Utah but dropped out to pursue a career as a production assistant and camera operator.

Mike Lookinland married his longtime girlfriend, Kelly Wermuth, an occasional actress, on May 1, 1987. He and his wife have two children together- sons Scott Michael Lookinland (born July 6, 1990) and Joseph Kelly "Joe" Lookinland (born August 6, 1993). His son Scott is a child actor and portrayed him in a biographical TV film, Growing Up Brady (2000). 

As of 2020, the couple is living a blissful marriage without news of extramarital affairs or divorce.

Mike Lookinland – Career

Early Career

Lookinland began working as an actor at the age of 7. By the age of 9, he had appeared in numerous television commercials, including for Cheerios, Band-Aid bandages, and toys. 

Having done around 30 commercials, at the age of 9, he was cast as Robert 'Bobby' Brady in the hit sitcom The Brady Bunch. He portrayed the character until the show’s end in 1974.

Since his breakthrough role, Mike Lookinland has starred in films The Towering Inferno (1974), Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), and Blending Christmas (2021).

He has also portrayed roles in Funny Face (1971), The Brady Kids (1972-1973), The Brady Bunch Hour (1976-1977), The Brady Girls Get Married (1981), The Bradys (1990), Growing Up Brady (2000), and A Very Brady Renovation (2019).

After his wife bought a library book on making concrete countertops, Mike Lookinland quit his job as a cameraman and started his own business. He has been making custom concrete countertops.
