Who is Ania Bukstein?
Ania Bukstein is an actress, singer, songwriter, model, pianist, and voice actress by profession and Israeli by nationality. She has acted in Russian, French, and English films. She is best known for her role in Game of Thrones as Kinvara, Friends from France, and Dead Europe.
Ania Bukstein – Age, Parents, Siblings
Ania Bukstein was born on 7 June 1982 in Moscow, Russia. She was born in a Russian Jewish family and both her parents are doctors. Her mother is a speech-language pathologist while her father is a neuro-oncologist.
She is her parent's only child and has no siblings. While growing up in Moscow, at the age of 5, she studied classical piano. When she was 8 years old, in the early 1990s she and her parents immigrated to Israel.
Therein Israel, her dream of becoming a professional concert pianist was replaced by her budding dream of becoming an actress.
Education, Ethnicity
For education, she attended Telma Yalin Arts High School and after graduation, she served in the Israeli Air Force for two years, which is mandatory. After studying French, she was granted a scholarship to study in Paris.
Her ethnicity is Russian-Jewish.

Bukstein was in a relationship with Ran Danker, also her HaShir Shelanu co-star. But the couple soon broke up.
In 2013, she married Dotan Weiner, an Israeli real estate developer who is also a cousin of Galit Gutmann. The couple welcomed daughter Sasha Gutmann in August 2018. They had been dating since March 2010.

Before fame
In the wake of her career, Ania Bukstein performed numerous songs on piano for the series HaShir Shelanu. She started her professional career in 1994 at the age of 12. She had landed the role of Anna in Eretz Hadasha (A New Country). She resumed her acting career years later in 2003’s Matana MiShamayim.
Films, Series
Since 2003, Ania Bukstein has starred in the films The Secrets (2007), Rabies (2010), The Conductor (2012), Dead Europe (2012), Friends from France (2013), and A Quiet Heart (2017).
In TV series, she has appeared in Our Song (2006), The Arbitrator (2007 – 2014), Naor's Friends (2011), False Flag (2015), as Kinvara in Game of Thrones (2016), Genius (2017), among others.

In 2013, Bukstein released an album containing eight songs and collaborated with DJ Ofer Nissim in June 2017 for the song Boy or Man. In addition, she is a performer at the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Bukstein is also utilizing her time to write a book about coffee tables.
