Anthony Rendon is a baseball player by profession and American by nationality. He is currently signed by the Los Angeles Angels, having played for the Washington Nationals in Major League Baseball (MLB) and college baseball for the Rice University Owls.

Anthony Rendon married his longtime girlfriend Amanda Rodriguez on November 25, 2017. The couple married at The Corinthian in Houston in front of family and friends.
He and his wife Amanda Rendon welcomed daughter Emma Kate Rendon on July 26, 2018. They also welcomed a second child, a baby girl in 2020. Currently, they are raising their daughter together and living a blissful marriage without rumors of extra-marital affairs or divorce.

Anthony Rendon – Career
College Games
As a freshman, Anthony Rendon hit .388 with 20 home runs and 72 runs batted in, and started all of 61 games. However, in the last game of the Baton Rouge Super Regional, he suffered an ankle injury and was in need of surgery. In his sophomore season had hit .394 with 26 home runs and 85 runs batted in and started all 63 of Owl’s games.
He was also invited to play for Team USA on the international circuit but suffered another right ankle injury in the first game against South Korea.

Professional Career
Anthony Rendon was selected in the first round, with the sixth overall selection of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft by the Washington Nationals. Rendon began his 2013 season with the Minor League team Harrisburg Senators.
However, after Ryan Zimmerman was placed on the disabled list, he was called up and his MLB debut was made on April 20, 2013. After Zimmerman was taken off the sick list on May 3, Anthony Rendon was optioned back to the Harrisburg Senators.
His next MLB game began just a month later on June 15, 2013, having replaced the second baseman, Danny Espinosa. Rendon played for the team from 2013 to 2019 season having played against the Cleveland Indians, San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Los Angeles Dodgers, etc.
At the end of 2019, Anthony Rendon was signed into the Los Angeles Angels for $245 million and a 7-year contract.
