Bryan Baeumler’s birth took place on April 18, 1974, in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. He was born to his mother Colleen Baeumler and his father Werner Baeumler, a meticulous aircraft engineer. He is not the only child of his parents and has two siblings- older brother Michael Baeumler and brother Paul Baeumler.

Following graduation from high school- at Appleby College, Bryan Baeumler went on to study at the University of Western Ontario. From the latter, he received his B.A. in Political Science and Business in 1996.

Bryan Baeumler married his longtime girlfriend Sarah on Sept. 3, 2004, at the Graydon Hall Manor in Toronto. They had met in high school and kept in touch through university and post-grad programs. They began dating after meeting with a mutual friend.
With his wife, he has four children – sons Lincoln Wolfgang Baeumler, and Quintyn Werner Baeumler, and daughters Charlotte Ann Baeumler and Josephine Judith Baeumler.
Currently, the family seems to be a happy one. Also, there are no rumors of extra-marital affairs and divorce surrounding the couple.

Business ventures
At the age of 14, Baeumler opened his very own handyman business where he did odd jobs for his neighbors.
In his adult years, he ran an air cargo business from 1995 to 2003. After working as a builder, he went on to establish the construction company Baeumler Quality Construction and Renovations Inc. He is currently the president and CEO of the company.
He also has a TV production company called Bryland Entertainment and in 2011 Bryan Baeumler launched a website- Baeumler Approved. In May 2018 he became the official face of HeyBryan, a mobile marketplace app that connects homeowners with home service providers.
Along with his wife Sarah, Bryan Baeumler bought an abandoned Caribbean resort in South Andros, the Bahamas in 2017. The couple renovated it into Caerula Mar Club, a new sustainable luxury resort, which was opened in December 2019.
On TV
Over the years Baeumler has worked as a host of numerous TV shows, mostly on HGTV. The shows include Disaster DIY (2007-2011), Leave It to Bryan (2012-2017), House of Bryan (2010-2015), Bryan Inc. (2016-2018), Island of Bryan (2019 - present), and Disaster DIY: Cottage Edition.
Moreover, he has also worked with Mike Holmes and Scott McGillivray as a judge on the HGTV show Canada's Handyman Challenge.
