Casey Wilson is an actress, comedian, and screenwriter.

Casey Wilson was born on October 24, 1980, as Cathryn Rose Wilson. She was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, U.S.A. Her parents are Paul O. Wilson and Kathleen Anne Wilson.
Both her parents were active in politics but on opposite sides! Wilson revealed in an interview that her mother was a Democrat and her father a Republican. Paul O. Wilson worked as a political strategist and consultant while her mother was a women's rights advocate and the chairwoman of the National Women's Political Caucus(NWPC).
She also has a younger sibling- a brother named Fletcher Wilson, who is now a medical device engineer.
Education, Ethnicity
For education, Casey Wilson attended T. C. Williams High School and graduated from the same in 1998. In High School, she was the class president and a member of the field hockey team. She went on to study theater at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She also enrolled at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, where she received "Excellence in Acting" award while graduating in 2002.
Her ethnicity includes Irish, English, and Italian.

Casey Wilson met comedy writer David Caspe in early 2010 when she auditioned for ABC’s Happy Endings. But it was not loved at first sight! Wilson and Caspe worked together for a year before finally dating in July 2011. The perfectly suited couple got engaged in September 2013, over Labor Day weekend.
They finally tied the knot on May 25, 2014, in Ojai, California. Speaking of her marriage, she said in a rather comical way,
“My dad always said that 90 percent of marital problems could be solved by getting your blood sugar up, and he's right! So I would say pick a partner who's forgiving when you have low blood sugar and threaten to drive your car through your shared home.”
The couple’s first son was born in May 2015 and named him Max Red Caspe. Casey Wilson welcomed second her child, also a son, with her husband on August 24, 2017. The baby boy was born a month before the due date. They named him Henry Bear Caspe.

Casey Wilson – Career
Early Days
Casey Wilson became inspired by the theater as a young child when she went to see the production of Cats with her dad in a New York City theater. Seeing her passion for performing, her father even built her a homemade stage in the family's backyard. She used to put on plays with her neighborhood friends.
As Wilson reached her teens, she began taking singing and acting lessons, involved in her high school theater program. With her college best friend and fellow comedian June Diane Raphael, she began to run two-woman sketches at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City for a few years.

Films, Series
The year 2005 brought a change in their career. At the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, the duo was spotted and hired by New Regency Pictures to write the 2009 film Bride Wars. They both also starred in the film in supporting roles. In addition, Wilson and Raphael worked as writers and story editors on CBS’s Americanized version of Creature Comforts.
Eventually, Casey Wilson got into acting. She has starred in Virgin (2003), The Brothers Solomon (2007), Killers (2010), The Guilt Trip (2012), Ass Backwards (2013), Gone Girl (2014), Me Him Her (2016), Why Him? (2016), and The Long Dumb Road (2018) to name a few.
Casey Wilson has also appeared in shows including Saturday Night Live (2008-2009), Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday (2008), Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (2009), Happy Endings (2011-2013), Marry Me (2014-2015), The Hotwives (2014-2015), American Dad! (2015-2018), Atypical (2018), among others.

Casey Wilson – Politics, Philanthropy
Casey Wilson also shares her fair interest in politics like her family does. During the 2008 presidential election, she supported Hillary Clinton, actively volunteering for her campaign. She also traveled with the Clintons, introducing Hillary and Bill Clinton at campaign rallies held in Iowa and Indiana.
Wilson is also known for her charity work. She and her family maintain the Kathy Wilson Foundation, which was established in 2005. The foundation focuses on children with disabilities, screening three-four year old in the Alexandria community for disabilities. Furthermore, the foundation has been doing the good deed of distributing annual donations and grants to local area preschools as well as childcare centers in Virginia.
Her father serves as president and her brother Fletcher Wilson serves as vice president for the foundation.
