Cedrick Lang is a football player by profession and American by nationality. He is currently signed by New England Patriots as an Offensive tackle.

After graduating high school, he studied at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) where he played basketball for the UTEP Miners for four years (2011-2015). Later he switched to football as a tight end. There Cedrick Lang played 12 games and caught 11 passes for 72 yards with one touchdown.

Cedrick Lang – Career

Cedrick Lang started his professional football career in 2016. He was chosen by New York Giants on May 6,  2016’s draft process, and worked out in Texas. Lang was then signed to Denver Broncos on Jan. 27, 2017, after being released by the Giants at the end of training camp on May 09, 2016.

However, he was soon released from Denver Broncos prior to the start of the regular season on Sep 02, 2017.

In the 2017 season, the young footballer was signed by Minnesota Vikings to the practice squad on Sep 04, 2017. Lang was soon signed by the Minnesota Vikings to a future contract on Jan 22, 2018. 

But on 20 August 2018, he was injured in the lower leg and had to undergo surgery. So, he had to spend the entire 2018 season on the Minnesota injured reserve list. 

However, Minnesota Vikings did not tender a qualifying offer to Cedrick Lang. Free agent Cedrick Lang was then signed by New England Patriots as an Offensive tackle on Apr 01, 2019.
