Christina Ochoa is an actress, science communicator, writer by profession, and Spanish by nationality. She is best known for her work in Blood Drive, Animal Kingdom, Matador, Valor, and A Million Little Things.

Christina Ochoa’s birth took place on 25 January 1985 in Barcelona, Spain. She was born Cristina Ochoa Lopez to her father Victor Ochoa, a famous Spanish sculptor while the name and details of her Cuban mother are not known.
Ochoa has other famous names in the family too. She is the grand-niece of 1959 Nobel Prize winner Severo Ochoa. Christina Ochoa is not the only child of her parents; she has 4 siblings, three brothers, and a sister.

For education, she attended the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to study oceanographic engineering and James Cook University to study Advanced marine biology. She also enrolled at Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia (UNED) but dropped out to focus on acting.

The actress dated Canadian-American actor Nathan Fillion in 2013. They had even gotten engaged but broke up a year later in 2014. She then went on to date American actor and model Derek Theler in July 2014. This relationship too did not last and the couple broke up in January 2016.
She was rumored to be dating British actor Ben Robson, who is also her co-star. They were reported to be secretly dating since 2016. But the rumors were never confirmed by either party.
Christina Ochoa is currently dating her boyfriend Cru Ennis. They often feature each other on social media. The couple is yet to marry and she does not have any children. As she has never married, divorce is out of context.

Christina Ochoa grew up surrounded by members of both the scientific and artistic worlds and was naturally inspired to be active in both science and art. She has hosted educational programs Know Brainer, MESA, Bitesize TV's Chaotic Awesome, NERD ALERT, and as an expert guest on podcast Professor Blastoff, Talk Nerdy, and STEM.
She is also a member of the Los Angeles Committee for Science for Society and served as a commentator for Intel Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in 2017. Ochoa also has been an active member of Mensa since 2009.

Ochoa first began acting as a hobby, starting in theatrical plays in Washington. Soon she decided to pursue a career as an actress. So she moved to Madrid.
Her first role was as Gabriela in 2009’s Contáct@me. Since then she has had guest appearances in I Hate My Teenage Daughter (2011), Modern Family (2012), Matador (2014), La que se avecina, Cats Dancing on Jupiter, and a recurring role in Animal Kingdom (2016-2018) as Renn Randall.
Christina Ochoa has landed the main role in Blood Drive (2017) as Grace D'Argento, in Valor (2017-2018) as CW3 Nora Madani, and in A Million Little Things (2018-2019) as Ashley Morales. She was also a contestant on Naked and Afraid with Derek Theler.
