Who is Collin Gosselin?

Collin Gosselin is a reality TV star by profession and American by nationality. He is best known for starring in the reality TV series Jon & Kate Plus 8 alongside her parents Kate Gosselin, and Jon Gosselin, older twin sisters Cara and Madelyn Gosselin, and his sextuplet brothers and sisters Aaden Jonathan, Collin Thomas, Joel Kevin, Alexis Faith, Hannah Joy, and Leah Hope Gosselin.

Collin Gosselin – Bio, Age, Parents, Siblings

Collin Gosselin’s birth took place on May 10, 2004, in Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA. He was born Collin Thomas Gosselin to his mother Kate Gosselin and his father Jon Gosselin. 

He is not the only child of his parents and has 7 siblings- older fraternal twin sisters Cara Gosselin, and Madelyn Gosselin and sextuplet brothers Aaden Jonathan Gosselin, Collin Thomas Gosselin, and sisters Alexis Faith Gosselin, Hannah Joy Gosselin, and Leah Hope Gosselin. 

Collin Gosselin is the fourth-born of the sextuplets and all were born 10 weeks premature and were conceived via in-vitro fertilization.

Education, Ethnicity

As of 2020 he is a high school student and will be graduating from high school a few years later. 

His ethnicity includes German, English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Korean, French, and Canadian.

Currently, he is considered single, although a secret romance cannot be ruled out. Since 2016 Gosselin has chosen to stay off the spotlight.

Collin Gosselin – Career

The Gosselin family rose to fame after the birth of the sextuplets. The family was cast in the NBC reality TV show Home Delivery. Soon after, in 2005, Collin Gosselin and his family were cast in Discovery Health’s Surviving Sextuplets and Twins. In the following year, they were featured in Sextuplets and Twins: One Year Later.

As the reality TV show gained millions of viewers, the Gosselin family went on to star in Discovery Health’s Jon & Kate Plus 8. The show began airing in 2007 and ran for two seasons before it ended in 2009 due to Collin Gosselin’s parent’s divorce.

He appeared in Kate Plus 8 after 3 years of hiatus, from 2010 to 2016. Since then Gosselin has stayed off the spotlight.

Collin Gosselin – Strained family, controversy

When Collin Gosselin’s parents divorced, his mother Kate was granted ownership of the family home and primary custody of the children. In August 2016 Kate announced that she has enrolled Collin Gosselin at Fairmont Behavioral Health Institute to help him with his "special needs". 

In October 2018 his father Jon filed papers for physical and legal custody of Collin claiming that it would be in the best interest of Collin to live with his father after his release from the Fairmont Behavioral Health Institute. 

After Kate and her attorney failed to appear in court, Jon won the sole physical and legal custody of Collin, who was eventually released from the Institute after 2 years of treatment. 

Collin Gosselin’s sister Hannah also lives with their father Jon while the rest of their siblings live with their mother Kate. Moreover, in August 2019 it was reported that Kate is not trying to win back custody of Hannah and Collin. 

Both Hannah and Collin have limited contact with their mother and their relationship of them with the rest of their siblings is not known.

However, in mid-2020 Collin made shocking allegations against his father calling him a "liar". He also alleged that his father physically abused him.
