Who is David Bakhtiari?

David Bakhtiari is a football player by profession and American by nationality. He is the offensive tackle for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL).

David Bakhtiari’s birth took place on September 30, 1991, in San Mateo, California, USA. He was born David Afrasiab Assad Bakhtiari to his father Karl Bakhtiari, a real estate businessman, and his mother Debbie Bakhtiari.

He is not the only child of his parents and has three siblings. His sister is named Danielle Bakhtiari, his brother is named Andrew Bakhtiari and his older brother is Eric Bakhtiari- a former American football player.

Education, Ethnicity

David Bakhtiari was educated at the Junípero Serra High School. After graduation, he went on to major in Communications at the University of Colorado. 

His ethnicity includes Iranian and Icelandic.

Previously David Bakhtiari was in a relationship with Kerra Lee Schroeder, a volleyball player. They broke up not long after dating.

Bakhtiari is in a relationship with his gorgeous girlfriend Frankie Shebby, a food blogger, and a model. The couple seems to be very close and happy together. They got engaged on July 4, 2020, and married on March 5, 2022. 

Moreover, in October 2022, Bakhtiari announced his wife was pregnant and would soon be giving birth to a child. There are no rumors of divorce surrounding the pair.

David Bakhtiari – Career

High school, college

While in sophomore year in his high school, he was named the team captain. He also was named Honorable Mention All-West Catholic Athletic League, All-Metro (Bay Area). As a senior David Bakhtiari received the name All-San Mateo County after winning the 2008 WCAL Co-Championship with Bellarmine College Preparatory.

At the University of Colorado, David Bakhtiari played for the Colorado Buffaloes football team from 2009 to 2012. After playing for the team for three seasons, he announced in January 2013 that he would be in the 2013 NFL Draft.

In NFL

David Bakhtiari was selected by Green Bay Packers in the fourth round and 109th overall of the 2013 NFL Draft. Since then he has had several injuries including a serious back injury.

After a successful rookie year, Bakhtiari played in all 16 games of his sophomore season. On September 13, 2016, he was signed into Green Bay Packers to a four-year, $48 million contract including the extension of $16.7 million guaranteed and a $15 million signing bonus.

On the list of NFL Top 100 Players of 2018, David Bakhtiari was ranked in 91 number.
