His full name is Dylan Christopher Minnette, his mother’s name is Robyn Maker-Minnette and his father’s name is Craig Minnette. He is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist in the band Wallows, the other members being Cole Preston (drums) and Braeden Lemasters (singer, guitar). The group first started working together in 2011 and had several name changes.

Their first EP The Narwhals was released on October 10, 2014, followed by EPs Spring, and Remote, released on April 6, 2018, and October 2020 respectively. The band has also released two studio albums- Nothing Happens on March 22, 2019, and Tell Me That It's Over on March 25, 2022.
