Emma Corrin is an actress by profession and British by nationality. She is well known for portraying the late Princess Diana Spencer in season four of the TV series The Crown.

Emma Corrin’s birth took place on December 13, 1995, in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England. She was born Emma-Louise Corrin to her South African mother Juliette Corrin, a leading speech and language therapist, and her father Christopher Corrin, a businessman. She is not the only child of her parents and has two younger siblings- brothers Richard Corrin and Jonty Corrin.

For education, Emma Corrin attended a private Catholic day and boarding school for girls at Woldingham School. After graduation, she took a year gap during which she took a Shakespeare course at the London Academy of Music & dramatic art (LAMDA) and volunteered at a school in Knysna, South Africa.

Her debut professional role was in 2017’s Cesare. Before landing her screen debut she began working in retail in the summer of 2018

In just a couple of years, Emma Corrin has starred in a couple of TV series as well as films. She has had recurring appearances in the US television drama Pennyworth (2019) as Esmé Whitaker and in season 4 of Grantchester as Esther Carter. Her role as Lady Diana Spencer in season 4 of The Crown is considered her breakthrough role.
Her movie debut is in the film Misbehaviour (2020) as Miss South Africa Jillian Jessup alongside Keira Knightley.
