Frank Grillo dated his girlfriend Kathy and got married to her in 1991. Their son Remy Grillo was born in January 1997. But the next year in 1998, Grillo and his wife divorced. The divorce might be due to Grillo having an extramarital affair.
Grillo had met actress Wendy Moniz in 1996 on the set of Guiding Light, while he was still married. And soon after his divorce from Kathy, he moved in with Moniz in 1998. Grillo and Moniz married on October 28, 2000.
The couple has two children together- both sons. Their first son, Liam Grillo, was born on August 2004 and their second son, Rio Joseph Grillo, was born on January 25, 2008. He and Moniz ended their marriage in divorce in early 2020.

Early Days
After graduation, Frank Grillo spent a year on Wall Street but later agreed to appear in a Miller Genuine Draft beer commercial. After doing a few other commercials, he landed his first movie role in 1992's The Mambo Kings where he portrayed the character Machito.
He then went on to star in Minority Report (2002), The Sweetest Thing (2003), April's Shower (2006), iMurders (2008), Pride and Glory (2009), Mother's Day (2010), Edge of Darkness (2010), The Grey (2012), Zero Dark Thirty (2013), Homefront (2013).

Other movies Frank Grillo has starred in include Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), The Purge: Anarchy (2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016), The Purge: Election Year (2016), and Wheelman (2017).
