Born as Hannah Dominique E. John-Kamen, Hannah John-Kamen is a British actress. She is well known for starring in the series Killjoys, Game of Thrones, and The Stranger, and films Ready Player One, Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Hannah John-Kamen was born Hannah Dominique E. John-Kamen on 7 September 1989 in Anlaby, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Her father Johnny John-Kamen is of Nigerian descent and worked as a forensic psychologist and her mother Astri Hansen is a Norwegian who worked as a fashion model.

Her parents raised her alongside two siblings- an older brother and an older sister.

For education, Hannah John-Kamen attended Hull Collegiate School and later trained at the National Youth Theatre in London. She enrolled at the Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating from the same in 2012 with a BA in Acting.

John-Kamen was only 18 years old when she moved to London to become an actress. She voiced Lord's Blade Ciaran in the video game Dark Souls (2011) and Sweet Shalquoir in Dark Souls II (2014). Her early roles were in the episode(s) of the TV series Misfits (2011), Whitechapel (2012), Happy Valley (2014), Banana (2015), and in the films Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015). 

Finally, in 2015 she was cast as the main character Yalena "Dutch" Yardeen Aneela Kin Rit in the TV series Killjoys. She portrayed the character for a total of 50 episodes, until 2019. This is also her breakthrough role.

She has the main role of Wilhelmina "Helm" Watson in the science fiction drama series Brave New World (2020).
