Hope Solo is a soccer player by profession and American by nationality. Her playing position is a goalkeeper and has played for the United States women's national soccer team, Philadelphia Charge, Saint Louis Athletica, Atlanta Beat, magicJack, Seattle Sounders, Seattle Reign FC, etc.

Hope Solo’s birth took place on July 30, 1981, in Richland, Washington, USA. She was born as Hope Amelia Solo to mother Judy Lynn Solo and father Jeffrey Solo, an Italian-American Vietnam War veteran.
She is not the only child of her parents and has a sibling, a brother named Marcus Solo. Her parents divorced when she was 6 years old. She also has a half-sister named Teresa Obert.

When Hope Solo was 7, her father picked up her and Marcus and drove to Seattle, where they stayed for several days at a hotel. At first, she thought it was a vacation but soon realized it was a kidnapping. The police found and arrested her father for the alleged kidnapping.

She had gotten pregnant with a child but in 2019 she revealed her miscarriage to twins in February 2018. On April 3, 2020, Solo welcomed twin daughters Lozen Orianna Judith Stevens and Vittorio Genghis Stevens. Hope Solo and her husband are living without rumors of extra-marital affairs or divorce.

Hope Solo – Career
College games
Solo was taught to play soccer by her father. In her adult years, she played for Washington Huskies from 1999 to 2002. After graduating from college, she went on to play for football clubs.
With Clubs
Hope Solo was selected by Philadelphia Charge in the 2003 WUSA Draft. She played for Kopparbergs/Göteborg in 2004, Olympique Lyon in 2005. And in 2009 she was recruited by Saint Louis Athletica and stayed with the team until 2010.
She played for Atlanta Beat in 2010, magicJack in 2011, Seattle Sounders Women in 2012, and Seattle Reign from 2013-2016. Over the years she has played in the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA), Women's Professional Soccer (WPS), and National Women's Soccer League, among others.

International Career
Hope Solo is regarded as one of the top female goalkeepers in the world. She played in the FIFA Women's World Cup (2007, 2011, 2015), Summer Olympics (2008, 2012), and Rio Olympics (2016).
In the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, she received the Golden Glove award for best goalkeeper and Bronze Ball award for her overall performance. She has also participated in Dancing with the Stars and posed for various magazines including ESPN, and Elle.

A day before she and Stevens married, Stevens was arrested after an altercation that left Solo injured was investigated. He was released the next day.
In 2014 she was one of the victims of iCloud nude leaks of celebrity photos. Solo was arrested on June 21, 2014, on the charges of assault against her half-sister and nephew. The charges were dropped in May 2018.
