Jacob Tremblay’s birth took place on October 5, 2006, in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. He was born to his mother Christina Candia Tremblay, a homemaker, and his father Jason Tremblay, a police detective.

He is not the only child of his parents and has two siblings- older sister Emma Tremblay, and younger sister Erica Tremblay are both actors.

Tremblay was cast as Jack Newsome in the 2013 drama film Room. This was followed by roles in Before I Wake (2016), Shut In (2016), The Predator (2018), Good Boys (2019), Doctor Sleep (2019), and Flounder in the remake of Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Over the years Jacob Tremblay has had appearances in the TV series Motive (2013), Billy on the Street (2016), American Dad! (2017), Pete the Cat (2017-2018), and The Twilight Zone (2019).
