Who is Jeff Ross?
Jeff Ross is a comedian, writer, director, actor, and author by profession, and American by nationality. Also known as Roastmaster General, he has had appearances in Comedy Central Roast and 2006 directorial debut Patriot Act: A Jeffrey Ross Home Movie.
Jeff Ross – Bio, Age, Parents, Siblings
Jeff Ross’ birth took place on September 13, 1965, in Newark, New Jersey, USA. He was born Jeffrey Ross Lifschultz to his mother Marsha Lifschultz and his father who owned and ran Clinton Manor Catering. He is not the only child of his parents and has a sibling, a younger sister named Robyn Lifschult.
Ross grew up in Newark then his family moved to Union, New Jersey, and later to Springfield, New Jersey. Both of Jeff Ross’ parents died before he was 20. His mother passed away from leukemia when he was 14 years old and his father died of drug-related causes when he was 19 years old.
Education, Ethnicity
For education, he attended Jonathan Dayton High School and after graduation went on to study at Boston University College of Communication. He graduated from the same in 1987 with a film major with a minor in political science.
His ethnicity is Ashkenazi-Jewish.
Jeff Ross – Girlfriend, Wife, Children, Divorce
Jeff Ross was in a relationship with Kate Blanch and dated her through 2003. However, the two never got married and soon separated.
Apart from Blanch and Georgina the Waitress (whom he is said to have dated in 1992), he has not been linked to any woman in public. He is unmarried, sans wife and children.

Jeff Ross – Career
Early Career
Ross began performing stand-up comedy in 1994 at The Boston Comedy Club. Greeted with initial success, just in a year, he also began performing at The Comedy Cellar, Stand Up NY, and New York Friars Club. Soon he was given the title of "Roast master General", indicating his ability to “roast.”
In 1998 Jeff Ross was hired by Jimmy Kimmel as a writer on The Man Show where he wrote punchlines for Billy Crystal's monologue at the Oscars in 2000.

Career takes off
Jeff Ross began to perform at Comedy Central in 2005. On the show, he is famous for roasting celebrities like Pamela Anderson (2005), Bob Saget (2008), Charlie Sheen (2011), Roseanne Barr (2012), and Rob Lowe (2016), among others.
Over the years, Jeff Ross has also worked with Rob Reiner, Carson Daly, Emmitt Smith, and Mike Greenberg. As of 2019, he has published 7 books, among which the most famous ones include I Only Roast the Ones I Love, Love in the RV Park, A Crisis in Community College Leadership, and 1040 Taxes Could Be Replaced by One-Cent Fees!.
Acting
Jeff Ross has also worked as an actor. He has had appearances in Celtic Pride (1996), Six Feet Under, Crashing, Weeds, Future-Worm!, The Aristocrats, WTF with Marc Maron and competed in Celebrity Poker (2004), and Dancing with the Stars (2008).
