Who is Jennifer Lahmers?

Jennifer Lahmers is a news reporter, journalist by profession, and American by nationality. The TV personality is a FOX reporter for NYC’s Good Day Wake Up and joined the entertainment show Extra, Extra.

Jennifer Lahmers’ birth took place on February 19, 1984, in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, USA. She was born Jennifer Lynne Lahmers to her mother Cathy Lahmers Scolari and her father William Patrick Lahmers and was raised in Dover, Ohio.

She might be the only child of her parents without siblings. She shared on Instagram that her mother and fertility issues and had her at the age of 31.

She began showing interest in broadcasting when she was 8 years old. Along with her three friends, she formed a play radio network which they named WJET. They also made records on cassette tapes of fake newscasts.

For education Jennifer Lahmers attended Dover High School, graduating in 2002. She then went on to enroll at Ohio University E.W. Scripps School of Journalism where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Media & Journalism on graduation.

Jennifer Lahmers – Boyfriend, Husband, Children, Divorce

Jennifer Lahmers married her longtime boyfriend James Bosworth, former CEO of Back9Network, Inc. on July 2, 2011. They had gotten engaged in 2011, which was announced on January 18, 2011, after two years of dating. 

But their marriage did not last and Lahmers filed for divorce from her estranged husband just before their third marriage anniversary. They did not have any children together.

She was rumored to be dating Fox News personality Michael Craig, put on by their social media posts. However the rumors were never addressed by either party, so they fizzled out.

Around November 2016 Jennifer Lahmers began a romantic relationship with Dr. Mike Varshavski, a Russian-American celebrity doctor. But as of 2019, the couple seems to have broken up. Lahmers has deleted all pictures from social media, which had indicated their affair.

Lahmers went on to date her boyfriend Dr. Jarod Keller. They welcomed their first child together, their son Ethan Oliver Keller on November 17, 2021.

Jennifer Lahmers – Career

Early Career

After graduating from college, Lahmers started her career in journalism as a weekend news anchor and reporter in Jackson, Tennessee for WBBJ-TV in 2006. She worked there for a year and later began working at The Hartford Courant as a Humor Columnist.

Soon after Jennifer Lahmers joined Fox CT in July 2007 as a reporter and anchor. The year 2012 brought the end to her 5 years run at  Fox CT as she joined Back9Network, Inc. as a news host and the Director of Ambassador Relations.

With FOX

Lahmers worked there till June 2014 before being hired by FOX as a news reporter and host at Fox 5 Special: Studio 5 at Fox 5 WNYW. She is part of the network’s NYC’s Good Day Wake Up morning show. 

However it was reported in July 2019 that Jennifer Lahmers would be joining the entertainment show Extra, Extra will be hosted by Billy Bush. She hosted Good Day Wake Up for the last time on August 12, 2019.

She interviewed rapper R. Kelly's ex-wife Drea on the show in October 2019. Drea has accused Kelly of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse in her Emmy-nominated documentary Surviving R. Kelly while Kelly is serving his time in jail with more than a dozen charges.
