Jenny Mollen’s birth took place on May 30, 1979, in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. She was born Jenny Ann Mollen to her father Dr. Arthur "Art" Jay Mollen, an osteopathic physician, and her mother Peggy Lynn whose profession is not known. 

She is not the only child of her parents and has two siblings, half-brother Brad Mollen and a younger sister named Samantha Mollen.

For education, she attended Chaparral High School, graduating from the same. She then enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles’ School of Theater, Film, and Television and graduated. Mollen also studied at Antioch University, where she gained a master’s degree in Psychology.

Jenny Mollen – Boyfriend, Husband, Children

Jenny Mollen and fellow actor Jason Biggs met while filming 2008’s My Best Friend's Girl. She and her boyfriend eloped on April 23, 2008. They also held a second wedding and married in mid-June 2008 in Napa Valley.

In April 2008, she miscarried her son after three months of pregnancy. In July 2013, Jenny Mollen and her husband announced that they were expecting their first child. Their son Sid Biggs was born on February 15, 2014, while their second child, also a son was born on October 2, 2017. They named him Lazlo Biggs.

Mollen suffers from Grave’s disease after having Lazlo, which causes her to lose weight. She has been very open about her condition. In April 2019, she revealed that she had accidentally dropped her son Sid on his head which fractured his skull. She rushed her son to ICU and is reportedly recovering.

Jenny Mollen – Career

Before fame

While still a young girl, Jenny Mollen worked in a local theater and also had the opportunity to work with The Old Globe, The Idyllwild School, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. 

She began her professional career in 2000. That year she had a minor role in the TV series 18 Wheels of Justice. This was followed by her work in the film D.E.B.S. (2004) and in the series Strong Medicine

In 2003, she landed the breakthrough role in the TV series Angel as Nina Ash, the character she portrayed for a total of three episodes until 2004. Jenny Mollen is also well known for playing Jenny in 2005’s Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave.

Films, Series

Since 2005, Mollen has worked in the TV series Crash (2008), CSI: NY (2011), Suits (2011), Girls (2014), and Chicago Fire (2016) and has also hosted 2015’s Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise.

Moreover, she has starred in the films Cattle Call (2006), Kidnapping Caitlynn (2009, which she also wrote), Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011), Extracted (2013), and Amateur Night (2016).

In January 2013, Jenny Mollen signed with St. Martin's Press to write I Like You Just The Way I Am, a book of comedic essays published in 2014. The book reached #10 on The New York Times Best Seller list and was followed by Live Fast Die Hot in June 2016.

Her second book was also a success which reached #8 in Humor of New York Times Best Seller. Also, the book’s film rights had been acquired by Warner Brothers. Mollen is to write and executive produce the movie and will the starring Anne Hathaway.
