Jenny Packham is a British fashion designer. She is known for ready-to-wear collections and bridal gowns. Her brand designs were used in many films and TV series and stores in New York, London, Paris, and Hong Kong.

Jenny Packham was born on 11 March 1965. Her father's name is Colin Packham, a marine engineer, and her mother's name is Rita Packham. She had one sibling – brother Chris Packham who is a television presenter and naturalist.

She graduated from Saint Martin's School of Art with First Class Honours and studied Fashion at Southampton Solent University. Later she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate degree from Southampton Solent University in November 2008. Her ethnicity is English.

Packham is married to Mathew Anderson, CEO of the company in December 2015. She married her longtime boyfriend after years of dating. Jenny Packham has two children with her husband - two daughters Isabella Packham Anderson and Georgia Packham Anderson and is living in Southampton, Hampshire, North London.

Jenny Packham – Career

Early Days

In 1988 Jenny Packham brand was founded - she launched an evening ready-to-wear collection and later introduced a bridal collection in 1997. Packham launched a collection of bridal accessories with lingerie and ready-to-wear accessory collections in 2011. 

In 2013, the brand celebrated its 25th anniversary accompanied by international events including a catwalk at the V&A Museum, in London.

Brand's success

At Packham's brand became much more successful. She also franchised her stores in New York, London, Paris, and Hong Kong. These stores are stocked by Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bergdorf Goodman.

In 2013 Packham designed a gown for Adele Adkins, a British Oscar-winning singer, and songwriter for the occasion 85th Academy Awards.

The brand launched Wonder by Jenny Packham in collaboration with David's Bridal in February 2016. It showed nine wedding gowns with several accessories which help to spread the brand to international audiences. The brand has continuously shown collections with many celebrities like Christina Hendricks, Louise Roe, Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port, Anna Kendrick, Emma Roberts, and Dita Von Teese.

Jenny Packham's design was worn by  Emma Watson in Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows and was also used in James Bond movies -  Die Another Day and Casino Royale. It has also been used in episodes of Goodbye, Columbia, The Jewel of Denial, and Gone Maybe Gone of Gossip Girl.
