Off-Broadway

Pope moved to New York at the age of 18. He starred as Pharus Jonathan Young in the regional and Off-Broadway production of the play Choir Boy between 2013 and 2014. This was followed by roles in the theatre productions of Invisible Thread (2015), The View UpStairs (2017), and Ain't Too Proud (2018) as Eddie Kendricks, which were all either regional or Off-Broadway productions.

Breakthrough

Finally, in 2018, when the play Choir Boy was made into a Broadway production, Jeremy Pope portrayed the role of Pharus Jonathan Young. This was followed by a role in the musical Ain't Too Proud the same year at Broadway’s Imperial Theatre.

On TV, Pope has starred in the film The Ranger (2018) as Jerk, One Night in Miami... (2020), The Inspection (2022), and the main role of Archie Coleman in the web drama miniseries Hollywood (2020).
