Jesse Lee Soffer was born on April 23, 1984, in Ossining, New York, USA. His mother’s name is Jill Hindes (née Bruning) and his father’s name is Stan Soffer. Sadly, his father passed away when he was nine years old – in 1993.
From his mother’s second marriage, he has two half-sisters Shayne Hindes, and Jenna Hindes, and from his father’s first marriage, he has two older half-siblings- Craig Soffer (half-brother) and Melisa Soffer (half-sister).
He lived the first ten years of his life in Tarrytown, New York, and later moved with his family to Newtown, Connecticut.

For education, Jesse Lee Soffer attended The Frederick Gunn School where he played soccer in school. He graduated from the same in 2003. He went on to study at New York University (NYU) and Drew University.

Jesse Lee Soffer began dating his Chicago P.D. co-star Sophia Bush in May 2014. Their relationship ended in November 2016. In August 2018 it was confirmed that he and his girlfriend Torrey DeVitto were dating. DeVitto is also an actress and co-starred with him on Chicago Med. They ended their relationship in May 2019.
Soffer does not have children of his own and is sans wife.

Early Days
Soffer began his career as an actor at the age of six. His early roles were in numerous commercials including a Kix cereal commercial. His debut screen role was in the 1993 film Matinee as Dennis Loomis. His role as Bobby Brady in the films The Brady Bunch Movie (1995) and A Very Brady Sequel (1996) opened his path to diverse roles in his career.
This was followed by a recurring role in the TV series Two of a Kind (1998), and Guiding Light (1999). Finally, in 2004, he was cast as Will Munson in the TV series As the World Turns. He portrayed the role for a total of 502 episodes from 2004 to 2008 and in 2010. This is considered Jesse Lee Soffer’s breakthrough role.
