Who is Joe Anglim?

Joe Anglim is a reality TV star, artist, and jewelry designer by profession and American by nationality. He is best known as a strong contestant in the reality show Survivor.

Joe Anglim – Age, Parents, Siblings

Joe Anglim’s birth took place on September 30, 1989, in Arizona, USA. He was born to his mother Michelle Ducote Anglim and his father Pat Anglim, who worked as a high school teacher is not known.

He has revealed that he does have three sisters, Michelle Marie Russell, Sienna Anglim, and younger sister Marcella Anglim. His sisters released a country album Trebled Hearts on December 6, 2016, under the name The Anglim Sisters.

Joe Anglim is very close to his parents, siblings, and the rest of the family and frequently features them on his social media posts.

Education, Ethnicity

While a student in high school he played basketball and in college, he played indoor volleyball. He graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metal and Jewelry Arts.

His ethnicity is Caucasian.

Joe Anglim – Girlfriend, Wife, Children

Anglim met fellow Survivor alum Sierra Dawn-Thomas on Survivor: Worlds Apart in 2014. They remained good friends after the show, which blossomed into love off-screen after a couple of years.

Joe Anglim got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Sierra Dawn-Thomas in April 2019. The couple married on November 23, 2019. Anglim and his wife currently reside in Scottsdale, Ariz. They welcomed their daughter named Della Dawn in May 2021.

Joe Anglim – Career

Pre-fame

Soon after graduation from Northern Arizona University, Joe Anglim became a self-employed jewelry designer. He currently works as Multimedia Designer Artist and Influencer. 

According to his LinkedIn page, Anglim’s workshops use meditation and art therapy to create “healthy awareness and self-care stress management.”

‘Survivor’ competitor

Joe Anglim rose to fame when he was cast as a contestant in season 30 of Survivor: Worlds Apart. On the show, he was a member of the “No Collar” tribe. He finished the competition in tenth place.

He returned to the show again in the next season, Survivor: Cambodia — Second Chance. Joe Anglim finished the competition in seventh place. In the 2019's Survivor: Edge of Extinction finale, he reached the finale but did not win the title and $1 million prize.

Joe Anglim – The Sia challenge

Although Joe Anglim did not win 2019’s Survivor: Edge of Extinction, he did take home $15,000!

American singer Sia challenged him to cut off his luscious long locks and donate it to a children's cancer. She tweeted during the finale,

Anglim went backstage during the finale, cut his locks, and emerged on the red carpet holding his ponytail.
