Joe Panik is a professional baseball by profession and American by nationality. He is the second baseman for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Joe Panik’s birth took place on October 30, 1990, in Yonkers, New York, USA. He was born Joseph Matthew Panik to parents Paul Panik Sr. and Natalie Panik. He also has a sibling, older brother Paul Panik Jr., a former Division 1 catcher at Canisius College.

Before fame
While a baseball player at college, Panik ranked tenth among college baseball players with a .509 on-base percentage (OBP) during his junior season.
Panik was drafted by the Giants in the first round, with the 29th overall selection, of the 2011 Major League Baseball (MBL) draft. His debut game was with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes and prior to the 2012 season was rated the tenth-best second base.
Joe Panik played the 2012 seasons with the San Jose Giants and in 2013 he was promoted to the Richmond Flying Squirrels. The next year, he started the year’s season with the Fresno Grizzlies.

On June 21, 2014, Joe Panik started playing in the MBL for the San Francisco Giants. With the team, he has played baseball against Washington Nationals, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and Colorado Rockies.
In December 2018, he signed a one-year and $3.85 million contract with San Francisco Giants. Since the start of his professional career, Joe Panik has been placed on the disabled list twice- once in August 2015 and another time in July 2018.
