Who is Jordan Buhat?

Jordan Buhat is an actor by profession and Canadian by nationality who rose to fame after starring in the series Grown-ish as Vivek Shah.

Jordan Buhat’s birth took place on December 1, 1992, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He was born to a Filipino father, a bodybuilding champion, and a Welsh mother, a soccer player. He is not the only child of his parents and has a sibling, a younger brother named Elijah, born in 2004.

Other details of his early life including that of his parents, siblings, and the rest of the family have not been shared with the public.

After completing his high school education, he went on to study at the University of Alberta. But graduated from the same in 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting program.

His ethnicity includes Welsh and Filipino.

Jordan Buhat has been in a romantic relationship with Lucy Scanlon. Lucy is an Australian personal trainer and is on a cheerleading team. 

After years of dating and a year of a long-distance relationship, Jordan Buhat proposed to his longtime girlfriend on November 6, 2019. They are now engaged to be married and Lucy to be his wife. The couple is yet to have children together.

Early Days

In 2013, Jordan Buhat began his career as an actor. His first audition was for a role in Big Brother Canada. Although he did not land the role, Buhat did not give up his love and passion for acting. 

After years of dedication, Jordan Buhat was cast in the 2018 movie Summer of 84. Soon he went on to star in the TV movie Blurt as Jock followed by his breakthrough role in Grown-ish as Vivek Shah.

In Grown-ish, Jordan Buhat has starred alongside Yara Shahidi, Emily Arlook, Luka Sabbat, and Halle Bailey.

Others

Aside from acting, since 2018, Jordan Buhat has been an active CrossFit athlete. Moreover,  Buhat has worked as a summer camp counselor.
