Juanpa Zurita’s birth took place on 29 March 1996 in Mexico City, Mexico. He was born Juan Pablo Martínez-Zurita Arellano to his father Fernando Martínez-Zurita Reed and his mother Teresa Arellano. 

He is not the only child of his parents and has 3 siblings- sister Paola Zurita and brothers Fernando Zurita, and Andrés Zurita. When Juanpa Zurita was young, the family moved to the United States as his father had been appointed as a political counselor at the Mexican Embassy in Washington, D.C.

At the MTV MIAW Awards in June 2017, the couple shared a kiss and Zurita got down on one knee to “propose”. However, the engagement was believed to be false and reports suggesting that they had broken up were confirmed.

He was in a relationship with model Carmella Rose. He and his girlfriend dated from 2018 to 2020 and loved to share their pictures on social media.

Vine

After Zurita was introduced to the video-sharing app Vine, he posted his first video That dog killed Chuck Norris and was after me. The video received thousands of views in a few days and soon began his career as a content creator on Vine. His content which was published in both Spanish and English gained millions of subscribers over time.

Although Vine was closed in 2017, Juanpa Zurita had gained 1.8 million followers and his fan base grew over time as he transitioned to YouTube.
