Mike Vogel is an actor, former fashion model by profession, and American by nationality. He is well known for starring in films The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Case for Christ, Secret Obsession, and the male lead in the TV series The Brave.

Mike Vogel’s birth took place on July 17, 1979, in Abington Township, Pennsylvania, USA. He was born Michael James Vogel to his mother Kathy Vogel and his father Jim Vogel. 

He is not the only child of his parents and has two younger siblings- sister Kristin Vogel and brother Daniel Aaron Vogel, who is now a filmmaker.

Raised in Warminster Township, Pennsylvania, Mike Vogel attended William Tennent High School. After graduation, he went on to study at Cairn University in 1998. His ethnicity includes German, among others.

Mike Vogel married his longtime girlfriend Courtney Renee Raborg on 4 January 2003 when she was 18 years old. He and his wife have welcomed three children together.

They welcomed their first child, daughter Cassy Renee Vogel on February 20, 2007, followed by daughter Charlee B. Vogel born June 2, 2009. The couple’s third child, son Gabriel James Vogel was born on September 17, 2013.

Currently, they are living happily without rumors of extra-marital affairs or divorce.

Early Career

His first TV appearance was as a contestant on the Nickelodeon TV show GUTS. Before Mike Vogel started out as an actor, he worked as a model. 

In the early 2000s, he frequently traveled to New York City to audition for acting roles as well as modeling slots. He soon landed modeling work for Levi Strauss & Company where he modeled in jeans.

Around the same time, Vogel was cast in the TV series Grounded for Life as a guest star between 2001 and 2004. This was followed by roles in films Grind (2003), Wuthering Heights (2003), The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005), Supercross (2005), Havoc (2005), and Rumor Has It... (2005).
