Ashley Scott’s birth took place on July 13, 1977, in Metairie, Louisiana, USA. She was born Ashley McCall Scott to her father Joe Scott and her mother Andrea Meister. She is not the only child of her parents and has three siblings – two brothers and a sister named Ashley Scott- a brother of hers is named Josh Scott.

She had had some high-profile relationships in her young years. She dated Ashton Kutcher (2001 - 2002), Shemar Moore (2002 - 2003), and Colin Farrell (2002).

Ashley Scott married her longtime boyfriend Anthony Rhulen in 2004. Rhulen is a producer and has produced hit films The Butterfly Effect, and Lucky Number Slevin. But the marriage did not last long and they divorced in 2008.

Scott dated Kiefer Sutherland (2008) and Scott Speedman (2007 - 2008).

She went on to date Steve Hart, lead singer of the band Worlds Apart. After years of relationship, the couple married in January 2010. Ashley Scott and her husband have welcomed two children together- daughters Ada Bella Ray Hart (born January 6, 2010) and Iyla Vue Hart (born August 3, 2015). They divorced in 2019.

She is currently dating a mystery man named Forrest, whom she often features on social media. Scott's boyfriend is in the property development business and runs the Los Angeles-based company - First Point Development.

Ashley Scott began her career at a young age as a model. She competed in the 1993 Elite Model Look and reached the finals. 

In her teen years, she modeled for Elite Miami and walked in international fashion shows in Miami, Paris, and London. Moreover, Scott also posed on the cover of numerous publications.

As an actress, Ashley Scott received her first credit in the 2001 film A.I. Artificial Intelligence. Since then she has starred in films Lost (2004), Just Friends (2005), The Kingdom (2007), 12 Rounds (2009), and Secret Obsession (2019).

Scott has also had appearances in the TV series Dark Angel (2001-2002) as Asha Barlow, Birds of Prey (2002-2003) as Helena Kyle / The Huntress, Jericho (2006-2008) as Emily Sullivan, UnREAL (2015) as Mary Newhouse.
