After Clark was cast in Saunders Lewis' play Blodeuwedd with Theater Genedlaethol Cymru, she left Drama Centre London in her final term. This was followed by roles in the films Madame Bovary (2014), Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016), Love & Friendship (2016), and in an episode of Arthur & George (2015).

Since 2016 Morfydd Clark has portrayed characters in the films The Man Who Invented Christmas (2017), Crawl (2019), The Personal History of David Copperfield (2019), Eternal Beauty (2019), Saint Maud (2019), etc. 

Moreover, she has also had guest appearances in the TV series The Alienist (2018), The City and the City (2018), Patrick Melrose (2018), Dracula (2020) as Mina Harker, and in a 2021 episode of The Lord of the Rings as young Galadriel.
