Patrick Sabongui is an actor, stuntman by profession, and Canadian by nationality. He is well known for portraying David Singh in the CW series The Flash. His parents are Egyptian.

Patrick Sabongui’s birth took place on January 9, 1975, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. His mother Leila Rizkalla is an educator of French and a librarian and his father Wadid Sabongui is a psychologist. His parents raised him in a trilingual household, speaking French, English, and Arabic.
He has four siblings- older brothers Amir Georges Sabongui, Rami Joseph Sabongui, Camille Anthony Sabongui, and younger sister Marie-Marguerite Sabongui.

Following primary education, he went on to attend Concordia University from where he graduated with a BFA in drama for human development. He also enrolled at the University of California, Irvine from where he earned a Master of Fine Arts in 2005.

Sabongui married his girlfriend Kyra Zagorsky on 5 August 2002 after years of dating. Zagorsky is also an actress known for starring in the film The Pastor's Wife and the TV series Helix and Supernatural. With his wife, he has two children- daughter Ashe Alexandria and son Bodhi Sabongui, who are both actors.
Ashe has been credited for appearing in the 2010 TV movie A Family Thanksgiving and short films Shakey's Coffee (2012), The Prince (2017), and 20 Minutes to Life (2018). Bodhi has starred in the films The Main Event (2020), and Black Adam (2022; also stars Dwayne Johnson) and portrayed a recurring character in The Baby-Sitters Club (2020), A Million Little Things (2018-2020).

Early Days
Sabongui is a competitive athlete, having trained in martial arts, and is a mountaineer. Aided by an athlete background, his debut role was in the 2001 TV program Largo Winch as a stunt performer followed by similar work in 2004’s Il Duce Canadese.
Patrick Sabongui eventually took to acting and began portraying roles in films and series.
