Raven Goodwin began her career as an actress in 2001. Her debut role was in the film Lovely & Amazing as Annie Marks, which earned her a Black Reel Award nomination. Following her breakthrough role, she starred in the film The Station Agent (2003), Phat Girlz (2006), guest appearances in the TV series Malcolm in the Middle, Strong Medicine, and Everybody Hates Chris, and played the main role in Just Jordan, which ran for two seasons.
