Reza Diako is a professional actor of Austrian nationality and Iranian ethnicity. He is well known for his work in the TV series London Class, I Hate Suzie, and films The Covenant, The Persian Version, and Lockdown.

Reza Diako was born on May 6, 1993, in Geneva, Switzerland. His mother Roya Khalili worked as a painter while his father, whose identity is unknown, worked as a businessman.
He is not the only child of his parents and has siblings- an older sister named Samar Diako, who is now a London-based vlogger.
When Reza Diako was 5 years old, the family moved to Tehran, Iran. The family relocated to Vienna, Austria when was 12 years old before finally settling in London, UK.

As Reza Diako lived in numerous places throughout his childhood, he attended 10 schools including public and private schools in Tehran (his parent’s home country), an American Christian school in Vienna (where his maternal grandparents lived), and an international school in London (where he spent rest of his childhood).
He later went to Queen Mary University to study Psychology and obtained his Master's in Mental Health Studies from King's College.
Reza Diako also went to Bristol University where he studied pre-med for two years. He also took courses in Psychodynamic and Jungian Developmental Psychology.
His ethnicity is Iranian.

Early Days
while still in school, Diako began acting in theatre productions. In the mid-2010s, he worked in independent theatre and film projects while also training in acting techniques across London.
Reza Diako trained in Method Acting at the London School of Method Acting, in the Yat Malmgren Character Analysis technique at the Giles Foreman Centre for Acting, in the Meisner technique at the Impulse Company, and at the Identity School of Acting.
Films, TV series
Diako’s debut screen role was in the 2018 film Transparent as Harry Razavi.
Since then he has starred in the films InterNeurs (2020), Midsummer Night's Scheme (2021), The Son (2022), Lockdown (2022), The Persian Version (2023), The Covenant (2023), The Beekeeper (2024), etc.
He has also portrayed minor characters in the episodes of the TV series Around the World in 80 Days (2021), Tehran (2020-2022), I Hate Suzie (2022), and London Class (2023), among others. In addition, he has appeared in numerous short films.
