Sean Faris is an actor, model, and producer by profession, and American by nationality. He is well known for starring as Jake Tyler in Never Back Down, as Kyo Kusanagi in The King of Fighters, and as Rick Penning in Forever Strong.

Sean Faris’ birth took place on March 25, 1982, in Houston, Texas, USA. He was born Sean Hardy Faris to his mother Katherine Irene Ann Faris (Miller) and his father Warren Stephen Faris. He is not the only child of his parents and has a sibling, a brother named Jeff Faris, and a half-sister.

After moving to Ohio at the age of 12 with his mother, he went to Barbizon Modeling and Acting School in Cleveland and also competed at the International Model and Talent Association in 1999. Early Days

After starting his career in 2001, Sean Faris landed a debut role in the film Twisted and in 4 episodes of the TV series Undressed. This was followed by roles in the TV series Eve (2003), Life as We Know It (2004-2005), Reunion (2005), and in the films Pearl Harbor (2001), The Brotherhood II (2001), Sleepover (2004), Yours, Mine & Ours (2005).

Finally, in 2008 he was cast as the lead role of Jake Tyler in the film Never Back Down which gained him international recognition.
