Who is Souheila Yacoub?
Souheila Yacoub is an actor by profession and Swiss by nationality. She was crowned Miss Suisse Romande in 2012 and is also a former rhythmic gymnast. She is well known for her work in the films The Salt of Tears, Rise, Dune: Part Two, and the TV series No Man's Land.

Souheila Yacoub was born on 29 June 1992 in Geneva, Switzerland. The names of her Tunisian father and her Flemish mother are unknown. She is not the only child of her parents and has a sibling, a sister named Ines Yacoub.

For education, Souheila Yacoub studied at the La Haute école fédérale de sport de Macolin. As a teen, she also joined the Swiss National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team and competed in rhythmic gymnastics from 2009 to 2010 at the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships.
She also went to study at the Cours Florent on scholarship in 2013 and Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique (CNSAD) in 2016.

Early Days
At the age of 16, Souheila Yacoub left school to focus on gymnastics. But after she did not qualify for the Olympics, she quit the sport and returned home. Following her sister’s suggestion, she applied for Miss Suisse Romande and won the crown of the 2012 Miss Suisse Romande.
Yacoub eventually enrolled in local dance and acting classes and later in her career, attended college to study acting and drama.

As an actress, she started her career in the French TV series Plus belle la Vie (2016) as Aicha. This was followed by roles in the films Climax (2018), Les affamés (2018), The Salt of Tears (2020), The Braves (2021), A Brighter Tomorrow (2021), En corps (2022), Dune: Part Two (2023), Before the Collapse (2023), among others.
Moreover, Souheila Yacoub has portrayed characters in the episodes of the TV series Savages (2019), No Man's Land (2020), H24, 24 h de la vie d'une femme (2021), etc.
She has also founded a theatre company called 23h59.
