Who is Ty Dillon?

Ty Dillon is an American stock car racing driver and the younger brother of Austin Dillon, also a NASCAR driver. Their father is Mike Dillon, a former driver, and RCR general manager. He is currently with the team Germain Racing.

Ty Dillon’s birth took place on February 27, 1992, in Lewisville, North Carolina, USA. He was born to his mother Tina Dillon and his father Mike Dillon, a former driver, and RCR general manager. He is not the only child of his parents and has a sibling, an older brother named Austin Dillon.

Ty Dillon’s grandfather is Richard Childress, a former NASCAR driver, and RCR owner. Born into a family of car racers, Ty Dillon was inspired to become one.

Ty Dillon announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend Haley Carey on December 28, 2013. Carey is a former driver and a Charlotte Hornets cheerleader. The couple married on December 20, 2014, at Childress Vineyards, Lexington, North Carolina.

He and his wife have a child together. Their daughter Oakley Ray Dillon was born on November 20, 2017. In July 2020 he announced via social media they were expecting a baby boy named Kapton Reed Dillon in October 2020.

They seem to be happy together and are living with rumors of extra-marital affairs and divorce.

Ty Dillon – Career

Early Career

Dillon began his career as a professional racer with go-karts and Bandolero minicars. He was elevated to K&N Pro Series East in 2009 and 2010. 

In 2010 Ty Dillon won the Kansas Speedway, and Rockingham Speedway and competed in his first full season in the series in 2011, which he won against Chris Buescher. But Buescher was the one who won the series rookie-of-the-year award.

Professional career

As a NASCAR driver, Ty Dillon competed in the Camping World Truck Series, Xfinity Series, Monster Energy Cup Series, etc. He has won the 2011 ARCA Racing Series, ARCA Racing Series, and 2008 UARA-Stars, among others.
