Early Days

Mai started her career in her teen years as a model. She eventually began working in stage and theater. She was in her late teens when she was scouted and cast as a lead character in the German TV series Die Schulermittler. After signing with London-based International Artists Management (IAM), she began work as a full-time actress.

Yvonne Mai’s debut role was as a nun in the 2018 film Blackbird.
