Zach Villa is an actor, singer, dancer, and musician by profession, and American by nationality. He is well known for starring in American Horror Story: 1984 as the real-life serial killer Richard Ramirez. He is a member of the band Cylvia.

Zach Villa was born on March 17, 1987, in Clinton, Iowa, USA where he was also raised by his parents. His father’s name is Larry Villa and his mother’s name is Sheryl Villa. Other details when it comes to his early life, parents, siblings, or their profession are well kept from the public.

Since 2017, Villa has been a part of a band called Sorry Kyle. Prior to this, he was one half of the duo called Rebel and a Basketcase - Evan Rachel Wood was his partner. However, the duo separated and headed to their own career paths. He has also been a part of a band named Cylvia.

After college graduation, Zach Villa appeared on Broadway and at Carnegie Hall. He later relocated to the West Coast and then to Los Angeles to pursue his career. His debut screen appearance was in a 2013 episode of the TV series NCIS: Los Angeles as Javier Ramos. 

This was followed by minor appearances in the films Honeyglue (2015), Cardboard Boxer (2016), Destroyer (2018), As You Like It (2019), etc and in the episodes of the TV series Dan Is Dead (2017), Shameless (2019), among others.

Finally, in 2019, he was cast as the real-life serial killer Richard Ramirez in the TV series American Horror Story: 1984. He portrayed the role for a total of 9 episodes and is his breakthrough role.

Since then Zach Villa has starred in the films Hypochondriac (2022), Good Mourning (2022), Vengeance (2022), The Adventures of Bunny Bravo, Discussion Materials, All Souls, etc. He also portrayed characters in the TV series Station 19 (2019), Archive 81 (2022), etc.
