Sarah Greene is an actress and singer by profession and Irish by nationality. She is well known for starring in the theater production of The Cripple of Inishmaan on Broadway and West End productions. As well as the films Noble, and Penny Dreadful.

Sarah Greene was born on 24 July 1984 in Cork, Ireland. Her mother’s name is Claire Greene and her father's name is Steve Greene. She is not the only child of her parents and has a sibling, a younger sister named Edel Greene.

For education, Sarah Greene attended the CADA Performing Arts in Cork. She later went to the Gaiety School of Acting and graduated from the same in 2006.

Sarah Greene – Career
Early Days
Greene first became interested in performing arts at a young age. Her first stage appearance was at the age of six in the production of The King and I at the Opera House in Cork where she played a twin. While a student at CADA Performing Arts, she participated in theatre plays as well as musicals.
Sarah Greene’s debut screen appearance was in the 2008 film Eden as Imelda Egan. This was followed by guest appearances in the TV series Psych Ward (2009), The Guard (2011), etc., and in the films Love & Savagery (2009), and My Brothers (2010), among others. Finally, in 2014 she was cast as middle Christina in the film Noble which increased her popularity in the film and TV industry.

Since then Sarah Greene has starred in the films Standby (2014), Burnt (2015), The Bunker (2017), Black '47 (2018), Rosie (2018), The Last Planet, In the Land of Saints and Sinners, among others. Moreover, she has also portrayed characters in the episodes of the TV series Vikings (2014), Penny Dreadful (2015-2016), Rebellion (2016), Ransom (2017-2018), Dublin Murders (2019), Normal People (2020), Roadkill (2020), Frank of Ireland (2021), Bad Sisters (2022), Sexy Beast (2022), etc.
Theatre
Aside from her screen work, Greene has also worked in theatre productions. Some of her well-known roles are in Druid Theatre Company’s The Playboy of the Western World (2009), Peacock Theatre’s Little Gem (2010), Cork Opera House and Gaiety Theatre’s Between Foxrock and a Hard Place (2011), Cort Theatre and Noel Coward Theatre’s The Cripple of Inishmaan, Old Vic’s Woyzeck, Gielgud Theatre’s The Ferryman.
