Ant Anstead joins ‘breakup recovery’ program after split from Christina Anstead
Ant Anstead shared he has joined a “breakup recovery” program. It comes after news broke that he and wife of almost two years Christina Anstead split has separated.
The 41-year-old British TV host posted on his Instagram story about the five-week “Breakup Recovery” program from the company Create the Love. Its motto is to help people “design life and love (they’ve) longed for.”
Anstead also said that he’s on day 30 of the program and said “it’s been a lifeline” for him. “If anyone out there needs this DO IT!” he added. In addition, it was also reported that he had taken part in a three-day faith-based program called Rise Up Kings which he describes as “intense” but “awesome.”
Just last month HGTV host Christina, who first rose to fame co-hosting HGTV’s Flip or Flop, alongside her first husband Tarek El Moussa, announced they had “made the difficult decision to separate” via Instagram.
The couple had started dating in the fall of 2017 and had tied the knot in a little over a year. Their son Hudson was born in September 2019. Christina also has two children with her first husband - son Brayden James, 5, and daughter Taylor Reese, 10. Ant Anstead also has two children from his previous marriage.
“Anyone who really knows me knows that I don’t like to share private matters publicly,” Ant addressed their split. “I have remained silent while holding on to hope. I never gave up on us. I pray Christina’s decision brings her happiness.”
