Ariel Winter dating Luke Benward after split from boyfriend of 3 years Levi Meaden

The Modern Family star Ariel Winter aka Alex Dunphy has a new man in her life!

21-year-old actress Ariel Winter is dating fellow Hollywood actor Luke Benward, 24 of Dumplin’ fame.

According to sources obtained by E! The pair stopped by Delilah in West Hollywood after attending  Luke’s Really Really reading at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. 

An eyewitness shared,

“It was very clear they are a couple and they were affectionate all night long. They had their arms wrapped around each other and he put his hand on her waist. They took pictures together with his phone and posed with their faces together."

Another source shared,

“They came out [of Delilah] around 1:45 a.m. and stood rubbing each other's backs as they waited for their car. They never took their hands off of each other."

Another insider reported how their friendship turned to love in an unexpected turn of events,

“Ariel never anticipated for any romantic feelings to develop with Luke, but things unexpectedly changed very gradually over the past few months between them. Ariel has been such close friends with Luke for years and never looked at him as anything more than a friend.

But after her split from Levi, Luke was really there for Ariel and she was able to lean on him for support. Things just shifted and it happened very organically. Neither of them expected it to happen, but it just did. Ariel is still on really good terms with Levi, but she’s open to seeing where things go with Luke.”

Ariel Winter dated 32-year-old actor Levi Meaden for three years before ending their relationship in August 2019.

The actress who is savoring her final months working on Modern Family's final season has been acting since the age of 4, i.e. since 2002. She has had roles in over dozens of films including Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Batman, Smurfs: The Lost Village and the series ER, Sofia the First, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, etc.

Actor Luke Benward too earned his name after starring in Dumplin’ as Bo, as Billy Forrester in How to Eat Fried Worms, and as Charlie Tuttle in Minutemen.
