Bebe Rexha gets real on bikini, "Here is what a real woman looks"
Bebe Rexha looked beautiful in her red bikini as she stood beneath the tree, on the beach of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The 29-year-old singer posted the unedited picture on Instagram with the caption,
“I probably should of photoshopped my stomach and made it look flat. I probably should of photoshopped my legs to make them look thinner. I probably should of made myself look taller and Smoothed my legs.
But I didn’t. Society can really f**k with you. Here is what a real woman looks like on Instagram without photoshop.”
Fans and fellow celebrities flooded her comments supporting her. Former Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui wrote “A REAL WOMAN W BAWDY”.
Shamed for looks
Bebe Rexha has been shamed for her looks and body size. Back on January 21, 2019, she shared via Instagram that she was finding it hard to find a perfect dress for the 2019 Grammy Awards,
“I have my team head out to a lot of the designers and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I’m too big…literally like…I’m too big. And if a size 6-8 is too big then I don’t know what to tell you.”
Only last year she was criticized for her weight, accused of photoshopping her figure and getting plastic surgery to which Rexha clapped back on Instagram,
"Yes I gained weight. Cause I'm human and I like to eat. And what I eat carbs my ass gets big. And you know WHAT: I love my fat ass!!!!!! Not every singer is gonna be a size zero, skinny and model looking.
If that’s what you want from me then you ain’t getting it. Sorry not sorry. I’m tired of people talking about my weight.”
Great Advice
She told People that while touring with Katy Perry, she received a piece of advice on online bullying,
"She was like, 'Why are you reading the comments? That’s the No. 1 rule, don’t read the comments. Because you will see someone telling you you're fat and ugly and you should die and you'll think, 'Oh my God, is that true?'"
