Candace Cameron Bure speaks out after criticism of ‘inappropriate’ photo with husband Valeri Bure

Candace Cameron Bure, 44, has addressed the heavy criticism she received after posting a picture with her husband Valeri Bure, 46, which some fans have deemed to be an “inappropriate” photo.

The post showed a former ice hockey player resting his hand on the “Fuller House” star’s breast. The offended fans who chose to call her out were mostly her conservative supporters. She eventually deleted the photo from her Instagram page but later re-uploaded the image to her Instagram Stories. Cameron Bure also vented her frustration over being judged for being affectionate with her husband of 24 years.

“For all of the Christians that are questioning my post with my husband’s hand on my boob — my husband of 24 years — thinking it was inappropriate, it makes me laugh because it’s my husband. We have so much fun together. He can touch me any time he wants, and I hope he does,” Candace Cameron Bure continued. “This is what a healthy, good marriage and relationship is all about.”

The actress was also close to apologizing to those offended but stopped herself from doing so.

“I’m sorry if it offended you — I’m actually not sorry,” Cameron Bure said with a laugh. “I’m glad we have fun together after so many years. He can touch me all day long.”

Candace Cameron Bure and Valeri Bure married in 1996. They were introduced by Cameron’s co-star Dave Coulier at a charity hockey game. The pair share three children- daughter Natasha, 22, and sons Lev, 20, and 18-year-old Maksim.
