Colton Underwood and fiancé Jordan C. Brown are not going to sign a prenup
Colton Underwood has revealed that he is not planning to sign a prenup before marrying his fiancé Jordan C. Brown.
He shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday, “We’ve already had this conversation. We’re in it for the long haul.”
“I know you guys have opinions on prenups... We don’t want to put those vibes out there,” the former NFL star added.
The athlete-turned-reality star, 30 also shared that he and Brown, 39 had not wanted a long engagement but had to postpone wedding plans because of COVID-19.
“It’s what, three years backed up now because of COVID? I want a good wedding. We need a venue, and venues are backed up. We’re [going big],” the Bachelor star said. He famously dated Bachelor winner Cassie Randolph.
Colton Underwood announced his engagement in February 2022 after less than a year of dating, having been first linked in September 2021.
“I’m extremely happy! 2021 was the most transformative year of my life. Starting 2022 off with my best friend, teammate, and now fiancé is something I never thought was going to be possible.” Underwood had told People of his engagement. He had come out as gay on Good Morning America in April 2021.
Underwood also revealed that they plan to have a “nontraditional” wedding.
“That aspect of our relationship and our engagement and even, you know, our wedding when it comes time to plan that, we’re going to be doing it, hopefully, in a nontraditional fun, weird way. It’s going to be authentic to us instead of trying to fit into some mold,” he said.
