Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck confirm their Vegas wedding

Jennifer Lopez has confirmed that she has married boyfriend Ben Affleck in her On The JLo newsletter.

“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” she wrote of their Vegas ceremony. They rekindled their romance in 2021.

“Last night we flew to Vegas, and stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world. Behind us, two men held hands and held each other. In front of us, a young couple who made the three-hour drive from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday—all of us wanting the same thing— for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage,”  Lopez wrote.

Jennifer Lopez continued, “We barely made it to the little white wedding chapel by midnight. They graciously stayed open late a few minutes, let us take pictures in a pink Cadillac convertible, evidently once used by the king himself (but if we wanted Elvis himself to show, that cost extra and he was in bed).”

Jennifer Lopez, 52, and Ben Affleck, 49, first met on the set of the movie Gigli while the actress/singer was married to her second husband Cris Judd. After their separation in 2002, Lopez and Affleck began dating Affleck proposed to Lopez the same year. However, the couple broke up and never made it to the altar.

Ben Affleck went on to date and marry actress Jennifer Garner in 2005. They are parents to three children- daughters Violet Anne, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, and son Samuel Garner. They divorced in 2018.

Lopez married singer/actor Marc Anthony in 2004. She welcomed fraternal twins, Maximilian David and Emme Maribel in 2008. The couple eventually divorced in 2014.
