Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner married in Las Vegas by Elvis Presley impersonator!

Joe Jonas, 29, and Sophie Turner, 23 have married in a surprise wedding ceremony in Los Vegas at Chapel L’Amour. The news of their wedding emerged after US DJ Diplo posted a series of videos on Instagram Live.

The last Jonas brother is now hitched after Nick Jonas married Priyanka Chopra last year in a lavish wedding ceremony.

The Surprise Wedding

The videos showed Turner in a white bridal outfit walking past with Jonas, Turner in a veil holding a bouquet of flowers, and the moment that the couple exchanged vows, exchanging ring pops as wedding bands.

Sophie Turner’s publicist Gertie Lowe confirmed to CNN that she and her fiancée Joe Jonas tied in Las Vegas on May 1, 2019. The newlyweds were in Las Vegas to attend the Billboard Music Awards and had married soon after the event.

Joe Jonas’ two brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas were also present at the wedding to serve as groomsmen. Their wives Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas also attended the wedding. But her best friend and co-star Maisie Williams was absent from the wedding which is out of the ordinary as Turner always said Williams would be her maid of honor.

The guest list extended to DJ Khalid, Tom Holland, Shay Mooney, and Dan Smyers.

Of course, the wedding is legit as the engaged couple had applied for a marriage license earlier in the day in Clark County, Nevada.

Romance history

After a whirlwind of romance and exactly a year of dating, Turner of Game of Thrones fame, and Jonas, a musician and singer had gotten engaged in October 2017. 

The actress, who had thought she would never find love, had said in an interview with Rolling Stone,

"I feel like I'm much older a soul than I am in age. I feel like I've lived enough life to know. I've met enough guys to know -- I've met enough girls to know."

The news comes just after the Jonas Brothers announced a North American tour and performed at their first award show together in a decade. However, the couple was reportedly going to host an intimate wedding in France.
