Julia Roberts wishes son Henry 18th birthday – shares rare photo

Julia Roberts’ youngest boy, Henry Moder, is all grown up.

The Monalisa Smile star celebrated her sons’ 18^th birthday with a short tribute on Instagram alongside a rare picture.

In the blink of a joyful eye this beacon of a boy is 18. I love you Henry,” she wrote alongside a throwback picture of her youngest teenager.

The rare photo saw Henry stare straight at the camera, wearing a white t-shirt and a green hoodie, covering his blonde hair.

Despite maintaining the privacy of her personal life, Roberts wished her son a 17^th birthday last year. Similar to this social media upload, she had posted a throwback photo of herself smiling as she looked at Henry when he was a toddler.

She wrote at the time, “Incredible that this baby is now a towering 17 year old wonder! Happy Birthday beautiful Henry.”

Julia Roberts, 57, and husband Daniel Moder, 56, are also parents to fraternal twins Hazel Moder and Phinnaeus Moder, both 20 years old.

Although the Oscar winner rarely posts about her kids on social media, she commemorates them on special days.

Back in 2022, when the twins turned 18, Roberts posted a similar celebration.

“18. Love you,” the Golden Globe winner posted a picture of herself in the kitchen, holding one of the toddlers as the other baby looked on.

The couple rarely posts up-to-date pictures of their children on social media. It was a surprise to fans when Daniel Moder shared the picture of his family on Mother’s Day.

In the special picture, the Pretty Woman star sat her daughter on her lap while he boys sat on either side of her. The foursome was sitting on a picnic bench.

"Mothers make the coolest stuff. Love these guys,” he wrote.

In an interview in October 2022, Roberts spoke about motherhood and what it means to her.

She shared with CBS at the time, “When I’m not working, [being a homemaker] is my full-time job. It isn’t rainbows and kittens every day, but it does bring me a lot of joy. It’s just never consumed me, being an actor. It is my dream come true, but it is not my only dream come true.”

“The life that I have built with my husband, [and] the life that we’ve built with our children, that’s the best stuff. To come home at the end of the day, triumphantly, to them,” Julia Roberts continued.

Roberts and Morder married in 2002.

Previously, she was married to country singer Lyle Lovett from 1993 to 1995.
