Kathie Lee Gifford’s daughter Cassidy marries Ben Wierda in his backyard

Cassidy Gifford has tied the knot with her fiancé of seven months Ben Wierda. The 26-year-old daughter of Kathie Lee Gifford married him in an intimate backyard wedding.

The bride’s manager told Page Six in a statement, “Ben and Cassidy got married in an intimate setting in his backyard in Michigan. They’re planning on having a big celebration when it’s safe to do so in the future.”

On June 6, the former co-anchor of the Today show shared the excitement about her daughter’s nuptials. She captioned a photo of herself on a tractor, “When the mother of the bride can’t contain her joy!!!”

Cassidy, an actress, and Ben, 30, who works at Clarion Technologies announced their engagement in November 2019. They have known each other since they were 11 and 14.
